2/4/12 - Strong Effort Against Sachem Gold

Team! You finished strong today. You did not give up. Great effort today! Remember the first thing we are working on is to spread out.

Maura - You played goalie against a tough team but you hung in there. Great punts! You played very well at Striker. Lets try more striker, I think you could play that very well. Very aggressive too as striker nice job!

Paige - You have improved the most! You are playing really hard. In the Spring we'll help you look to pass and make a quick shot. You are doing great!

Carlie - Every week you are getting closer to scoring. Keep telling yourself to win that ball and don't give up. you will be scoring goals before you know it.

Maya - Best game I ever saw you play. If you play like that every time you will be a star. You played aggressive you used that strong foot for corner kicks. And you are attacking to try for shots. You'll be scoring soon enough if you keep it up.

Sofia - You are my solid defender. I can depend on you every week. I always say you are a smart player. trust yourself and keep doing what you are doing. I'd like to get you up to middie or striker though.

Kaity - I say this every week, you are super aggressive. Make sure you look around to see where the other team is. You are playing smart though. You are solid every week.

Livvie - You played a solid middie today and really helped the defense. Lets see more offense though. You played really nice goalie. You could not do any better than that. You played goalie great.

Brooke - I would not have thought you had pneumonia a couple weeks ago. You played another week of aggressive play and I definitely thought you were going to score. Its just a matter of time for you too.

Kelsey - I thought you played better in the second half. Your positioning was better and you tried to run down the ball well. Keep it up. Try to do anything you can to win that ball from the other team.

Lydia - Another sold performance Lydia. A very nice goal by deflecting it off the corner kick. Remember to stay spread out. It will help the team even more. Keep up the great play.

Jillian - Terrific aggressiveness today and a lot of great quick shots. You really are improving on offense. You are following our instructions and those quick shots and hard playing will lead to a lot of goals. Great goal today too. NIce skills there to get that ball in the goal.

Brianna - See you at the tourney on 2/18. Hope you did great in gymnastics. We did a cheer for you.
Sarah - Very good effort in goalie. Its a hard position to play with the big goals. Remember to always keep your hands up to be ready and fall on the ball when it gets near you. Very aggressive defense. You should be proud how you never gave up.

Three things to focus on this winter.

1. Spreading out

2. Move up on offense (aggressive!)

2. Quicker passes and more of them.
